Sherpa Street Eats is a Nepali and Himalayan restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland, serving hand-folded momos, jhol momo, thukpa noodle soup and Indian curries made fresh to order. You'll find us at 4501 Falls Road in Medfield, just north of the Jones Falls Expressway. Every momo is folded by hand when you order it — steamed chicken momo, veg momo, and jhol momo served in a spiced sesame-tomato broth. Our thukpa follows the way it's made in the mountains: a slow-simmered Himalayan noodle soup built for cold weather. Alongside the Nepali street food you'll find laphing, samosa and pani puri, plus Indian classics including butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. Sherpa cuisine comes from high altitude, where food had to be warming, filling and made from what the mountains offered.
